Miori Nagashima

Born in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi prefecture.Fusing techniques from traditional Japanese calligraphy and ink wash painting, Miori lets her brush twirl and dance on a paper to create her unique work of art.Her work is empathetic yet full of life and color.Sometimes delicate, sometimes bubbly and pop…Miori’s unique style has been capturing the hearts of viewers overseas.Her style brings Japanese culture closer to viewers’ heart, as well as showing limitless possibility of Japanese art.Miori is currently working on her new enterprise "Hanasho".It is a fusion of Japanese calligraphy, ink wash painting and botany painting which uses natural materials such as lotus leafs and linden leafs.
